Pheasant Snow Day
14 Attachment(s)
I got out for pheasants during a bit of a cold snap earlier in the month. I shot my favourite pheasant gun, a straight stocked Parker GH 12 gauge with damascus barrels. It's a hair over 6.5lbs and choked mod and full.
I was hunting with a cousin and his dad was our camera man. He took some pretty incredible photos. |
Wonderful gun, dog, photos you name it...

Those are great photos! Congratulations. How long are those long looking barrels?
|
Thank you! I'm always incredibly grateful for the opportunity to get out after those beautiful birds. All the better when it's with family, friends, and good dogs.
Those barrels are 30 inches long. The stock is a little short, it's got something like a 13 3/4 inch length of pull, so that may be part of why the barrels look so long. |
Where are you hunting?
|
This was up in the prairies of Canada around the Manitoba - Saskatchewan border.
