Case in Point

Hello All, Just a quick note in Case you were not aware. My brother Matt had his knee replaced Thursday and is laid up for a bit. He is in great spirits and on the mend. Case restoration has slowed a bit, however he will be back at it ASAP. If you get a chance and feel compelled, a note of encouragement would be great to make sure he doesn't get lazy. Safe hunting to all.

Be well, Dean

Having had two knees and two hips replaced, I can say if he does his therapy judiciously, he'll be back in action in no time. Last knee done here was 12/6/2023. I did all my therapy at home as prescribed. Surgery was Wednesday. By Saturday I was walking w/o a walker or cane. Did therapy exercises as prescribe 2X a day and walked around the house a lot. Jan 30 I was cleared. January 31 I was in the field behind my Setters hunting pheasants. He's got this.

BTW, surgery was started at 8:15 AM and I was home by 6:00 PM, same day.

Dean, thanks for letting us know about Matt. I sent him a PM for when he’s ready to get back. He’s got a good brother, so he’ll be fine. As a member of the “replaced parts gang” I know he’ll be walking fine soon.

Elaine and I hope to see you both in KC next year.

Thanks for sharing and I wish Matt a fast recovery. I have two knee replacements coming at some point soon. Trying to make it through one more year before I do it.
