28"..I/C..I/M..Red Winchester pad marked...Trade Mark..June 6, 1922..I know there are haters...but how many straight grip 20s have you seen ? Winchester catalog lists straight grip as an option..

That is cool!

Ditto the "cool."

Neat gun! People deride those 24's; I passed on a 16ga years ago and regret it still!

Great for a tomato stake!

A) It’s a Winchester
B) It’s a 20 gauge
C) It’s got double triggers
D) It’s a straight grip.
E) Probably not too expensive

All good.

I KNEW there would be haters ! Just for that I put it in my cabinet between an LC Smith straight grip Ideal 16 and one of my GH 16 straight grip Parkers. It feels right at home !!

A dear friend in Vermont who I hunted grouse and deer with all the time since I was about 12 had a 16 ga. 24. He passed away seven years ago from an anurism while he was writing his sermon for the following Sunday. What a terrible loss to the entire community!!

That's Alan in the middle with the orange vest whith his brother Steve to his left. We have our own Parker Brothers to hunt with.

I tried sooo hard to get him into a Parker 16... after all, his name was Rev. Alan Parker...

Don't know what became of his Winchester.

I have to confess that there's a certain charm in a M 24, especially when you consider the market it was created for.
