seen a trogan at the oxford gun show yesterday...guy wanted 2000.00 for it but could possibly be had for 1900.00...the gun was worth the money in my opinion what do you think.....guy had the gun since 1974 i will discribe as best as i can....no case colors had 26 inch barrels cly and improved modiefied chokes about 14 inch stock normalmeasurements....brite bores about 6 1/4 lbs fair butte pad wood good but with normal dings...still good and tite barrel bluing about 50 percent....just thenomal old gun that has been hunted with a lot but with a lot of years of use left...no beaty queen but a good hunting gun....was a 0 frame gun.. if i hadda that much doe on me yesterday i would have come home with it and been happy... what would you have done if you had been the one there.... charlie

Twelve or twenty? Seems like a bargain to me if it is a twenty or even a sixteen.

If it was an 0 frame trojan, it should be a twenty.

it was a 20 ga.. sorry shoulda posted this the first round. one of the venders there said that there was more people with 20 dollar bill in their pocket than those that hundreds....i was one of them fellows that had just a 20...it dont hurt to just look most of the time but it did when i seen that little 20 trogan.... charlie

Those little guns aren't worth a hoot. Wait until you see some nice tens or long barrel twelves. Little guns with no finish are way too expensive. Call me if you find one with a bunch of color on it.

Nope, good for nothing. The bottom is my O Frame V grade sixteen, weighs 5-14 with 28" barrels, has no finish left on the barrels or wood. I don't know what I was thinking when I bought it for $2800. Of course the finish may be worn off these little guns cause they were carried thousands of hours while following the pointing dogs around.

The top is a nice little well worn G grade 16 that belongs to my shooting student Joe Wood.

Don't know where those funny lookin birds came from.:)

As a matter of fact about 80% of the shotguns I own weigh 6 pounds or less.

next time i see a good parker big gun with color i will call you bill...hope thisdontdisapoint you boys but back in january in tupelo miss seen a 16 ga hammer gun that was nice go for 800.00 wish i had met the owner before he sold it....new owner would not talk about selling it...it was the least amount of wear on a parker that ive seen...gun not used enough to even open good....seen a nice no 2 lc smith with factory 27 inch barrels ejectors and the gold bar on barrels with best wood on a no2 i ever seen .. it had been refinished but it was not overdone...price 3600.00 a heavy duch model 12 winchester withlots of oringal color had 32 inch barrel 3 inch gun.... 1500.00 for this one....i know somebody that would have liked this one besides me.... francis it was nice....what a time to be broke.... charlie

And here is a Parker 28 gauge that weighs 5-5. Again another little gun and some more of those funny lookin birds!

And here is a Bobcat I took with the little O frame sixteen. I found a covey all scattered out and started hunting singles. Little 25 pound Molly pointed a three foot cedar tree and when I kicked it he ran out. The first shot probably killed him but I shot him again so he didn't jump up and give my dogs an ass kicking.

And not to belabor the point but here is a picture taken by my wife of me walking in on a point in Montana in September. Again that is the Parker sixteen O frame and we managed to put seven huns in the bag that day. It was block management / walk-in public hunting on a piece of ground that we had never seen before and no one had sent us there or pointed us that direction.

Too expensive! Not worth a hoot! Shame on you Bill!:)
