Fox CE ejector problems
 

got a CE 12 that right ejector quit on. it kicks every now and then. never a problem till now. i have dismantled it down to all but removing hammers and cleaned everything...no help.
forend works fine with a touch ? any help would be appreciated.

Does that ejector cock but won’t eject the fired shell or will it not even cock at all?

Why not post this on the Fox collectors site? I bet that they can tell you the issue and how to repair it. There is a lot of Fox knowledge over there.

Dwight, I've had the same problem on my Sterly. When you open the to eject, give it that extra push. If that doesn't work, there maybe be some wear issue. I'll check it out when I get home.

I'll give it a try...thanks for the advice Chris.

Before I started repair and refinishing, I had a rookie repair some cracks in my forend. Too much bondo under the ejector springs, wouldn't fire. I went in and relieved and they work fine. Keep in touch, let me know what you find.

Try the ejectors with the wood removed. Bobby
