Parker Trojan
need a bot of info. I saw on guns international a redone parker trojan listed for 3600.00. I have always been told when a gun is re blued or the case coloring redone it takes away value. this price seems high to me. please give me a little education. I am new to Parker guns.

A 12 gauge Parker Trojan in decent original shape with uncut barrels is worth something less than $2000 generally speaking.
A "Redone" Trojan leaves a lot to the imagination and might have a following of only a couple of people... on a good day. . |
I saw the gun I think he's referring to, it's a 20ga, which of course adds to the price.
If it's the gun I am thinking of, it has suspect case coloring IMHO. But, I could be thinking of a different gun. I guess I'd think of it this way, if the gun makes you happy for the price they are asking for it, then it's worth that to you. But, I don't think of a refinished trojan as having any "collector" value. More of a shooting gun. |
Thanks for the info. I was thinking the same as you. I recently purchased a 16 gauge vh in good original condition for a lot less than this 20 gauge Trojan. I do not think of the one I bought as a collector but as a shooter. Thanks again to all who gave replied.

Okay, a 20 gauge. That changes everything. 28" barrels are a premium for a Trojan 20 but 26" aren't to be sneezed at either.
Please post a link to that gun on GI so we can have a look. . |
Dean it is on the first page under todays listings.

Yes thank you. I have not figured out everything about supplying info here.

Dean it is on the first page under todays listings. Photo of barrel end looks odd to me, any comments?

I can't find it on the first 3 pages of "new today" can you supply a link please?
