Yep, with 26 inches the burden is on the seller to prove to me it is not cut

shame, it is a 1 frame top lever hammer...if original 26" it would have gotten some play!

i remember a time when a 26 inch barrel was the thing to have for bird hunting...quail that is...charlie

The great thing about Parkers is the wealth of information available .
One I was looking at , the barrels looked off so I pm'd one of the members here the serial number. It was missing 4" off the barrels which wasnt mentioned in the description the seller had .

I bought my first 20 ga Parker way back and i learned later it had been cut from 30 to 26 inches and was a beautiful DHE. Bobby

Thanks to the PGCA and its members unfortunate incidents like that are most often times avoided now. At least for the PGCA members anyway.
