Parker Pages Arrived

My Parker Pages came today! What a great issue and a tribute to Dean Romig’s tenure as our editor. It’s been said a million times but can’t be said enough: Thank you Dean for all your work and sacrifice in the toughest job in the PGCA. Thanks to Kathy for being your support and biggest fan!

Mine arrived yesterday. I made it up to and through Garry Gordons excellent article before my eyes got heavy. Excellent work by all. I will finish the remaining articles this evening. Garry I got a real chuckle out of your comment on missing the straight away bird, "I am not unfamiliar with missing easy shots". :rotf:

Randy, I'm glad my poor shooting could brighten your day.:) My wife says people are always laughing at me...hmmm(?) She would also say that my comments about missing birds is a great example of understatement. Ouch, the truth hurts sometimes.

I am also enjoying the articles from this issue which was waiting for me after a day-long trek following the dogs after birds (with a Parker!), and want to add my compliments to Dean for his good work...and to the other contributors. I learn something from each issue. I know the editorship position cannot be an easy one, and Dean was very supportive and accommodating to me in my struggles to get him appropriately sized photos. (Thanks, Dean!!)

I'm going to be very jealous if Craig Larter figures out a way to take those 4 10 gauges to heaven with him. From the pictures it looks like the guns need nothing. Enjoyed the reading of your article Craig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great issue, enjoyed all the articles, especially the bird hunting Garry! And I will echo what you said, if you are in the South bird hunting = bobwhite quail!

Craig, I'm pretty sure the good Mr. Larter is already in heaven to be hunting with those big beauties of his. Wonderful guns...and wonderful writing about them.

Still searching for a GH 10ga and a BH 10ga to complete my 5 gun straight, very few BH's made and few have ever come to market. As we all say the hunt is half the fun. Craig

Garry, in reality, I am just glad Craig shares his acquisitions with all of us.
