Pigeon grade superposed back from Arts

I have posted this old girl before, she had some blemishes when I got her, but in the last few years, the finish had started to go on it. So I sent it to Art in Missouri and am very happy with what he sent back 6 weeks later.

They reblued the barrels, rebuilt the action, upgrade the breech, repaired a crack in the forearm I didn't know was there, refinished the wood, and as a bonus, regolded the trigger.

Its a pretty tough choice between the pigeon and the pointer for me when I shoot them.

I like the small gauge frame size. The large frame not so much. Had a Pigeon 20/28/.410 skeet set. Hated to see it go, but the man thought it was worth a whole lot of money.

Had the same gun John, loved it but did'nt shoot it that much any more. Ended up trading it to a gent for a 30" VHE 28 on a OO frame. I can live without it.:bigbye:
