Not in the serialization book :(
What say you experts?
What do you think it's worth?
What do you think it'll go for?

Brian Dudley 10-16-2017 06:22 PM

Between $8k and $12k

Dean Romig 10-16-2017 06:58 PM

It doesn't need to be in the Serialization book to convince me. It's the real deal IMO.

Do the forend borders look correct I see what looks to be runover and no mulled borders / Just asking and learning and this goes with this threads title I don't know much

Brian Dudley 10-16-2017 08:50 PM

Not sure what you are speaking of. It is completely correct.

Steve Huffman 10-16-2017 08:55 PM

If you hold on the picture of the forend and move to the rear of the checkering, it just might be the angle

David Noble 10-16-2017 11:31 PM

I bet it will sell above the high estimate.

I've seen and handled the gun, it is correct !

A plug can be seen inside of the butt checkering. Wonder if it has the hickory(?) strengthening rod or perhaps just plugged for balance?

Dean Romig 10-17-2017 12:20 PM

The size of the plug is considerably larger in diameter than a reinforcing rod and appears to have been bored or filled at the factory for balance.
