Okay then, Kathy's little Ithaca Grade 2 in twenty-gauge with original 24" barrels. Trigger guard bow is engraved with "Mrs. E.W.B." and I have not been able to discover who she was.
Sweet handling little gun nonetheless. . |
real nice gun your wife has dean she ever let you barrow it....charlie

I've shot it a few times at Addieville and took it grouse hunting. It's a pretty cute shootin' little gun. I like it. It's just a whisker over 5 lbs.

Mrs E.W.B. is the spouse of Mr. E.W.B.........sorry Dean I just couldn't resist:rotf::rotf::rotf:

BTW Shawn, have a new litter of Eng Setter pups 5 days old |
There were several nice Ithacas being shot at Hausmanns. Austin Hawthorn had a sweet 20 ga with factory 24" barrels, cant remember what grade, but was either a 2 or 4. There was a group of gent.s and their kids shooting, and almost all shot very nice graded Ithacas. There is an Ithaca collectors forum that I occassionally go to , but the posting there is very infrequent.

Harold,
Nice NID. What year is it from? I have a 1941 vintage No. 4E 16-gauge and my forearm isn't carved like that. Also the engraving is a bit more sparse by that late date. Attachment 55467 |
