1866 parker shotgun

Hello folks,
I'm trying to get the value of a 1866 parker bros double barrel shotgun with the serial no. of B 245 T. that was given to my wife in 1972. I think I have a few pictures in attactments. I plan on providing more pictures when the lighting around here is better. One earlier post asked about the date. On the gun in front of the triggers is written patented 19 Nov 1866. |
Gary,
Not a bad looking early Parker. Can't wait to see better pictures. How long are the barrels? Harry |
Hi Harry,
The gun is a 10 gauge and has 30" barrels. Tried to get better pictures earlier but the light is not good enough or I don't have a very good digital camera. will try again tomorrow. |
Gary: In my opinion you have a very early and valuable underlever Parker that looks to be in very good condition.
Best Regards, George |

Folks,
Here are few more pictures I hope. I have not been able to get a clear picture of the barrel that attaches to the stock. |

Gary, Looks a lot like a gun I have A1943 but it is a back action 12ga. Your gun looks to be in great shape congrats.
|
Per the Serialization Book, SN 2451 is a laminated steel barreled, base grade, underlifter in 12ga with 30" barrels. The gun was made in 1874.

The screws are out of time. I'll give you 300.00 as is.
|
All seriousness aside, that is an awesome page out of the Parker Gun history.
