Yup, it's a try gun. There must be an order book entry. Get out your checkbook. Buy a letter. I think it's an A&F or VL&D gun. However, it is not in Bob Beach's database. Of course it is worth a call to him.

Bill---- I purchased the Griffin& Howe (A & F ) try gun from Bill Ward --I think president---- while in Las Vegas some 35 +/- years ago . I bought 2 try guns at that show ----my memory tells me the one from G & H was a twist steel barreled gun with 30" tubes. The other was a longer barreled gun with steel tubes, I do not know the history behind this gun other than I paid around $2600 for it. Both of the guns ended up on my" for sale " shelf . I know the twist steel gun went thru James Julia's auction after the death of Jim Parker.

Best to you---see you in Baltimore
Allan

A&F had at least 3 Try-Guns as you will read in the next PP. I know where Allan's is now. It is in good hands.
We can have a mini-show of Try-Guns at the show or at our annual meeting. Bill is going to bring his Curtis Try-Gun.

Minor clarification.
