DAVE MOSTELLER

For those of you that don't look at the Fox site, SFC George David Mosteller, U.S. Army Special Forces, went to his reward last week after a long and brave battle with cancer that he contracted while serving in IRAQ. Dave was an avid Fox collector and a hell of a nice guy. He was upbeat to the very end after losing one leg and then another. He will be missed.

Best Regards, George

First Sergeant, E-8 when he passed. What a great guy. We had "show and tell" at the Chantilly, VA show every few months.

A prayer for the family, I did not know him but has to be topnotch, Gary

Dam I had been putting off and putting off to call him since Thanksgiving . I was scared I'd call and find out what I just read !

I was only fortunate enough to know him for a couple years but he and I hit it off from the first time we met .

God bless !

He told me the first Fox he ever purchased he got from you . And to the best of my recollection he still had it when he passed .

He did and he told me that it was still his fovourite. I shipped it to his (then) girlfriend in North Carolina along & sent him a copy of Mike McIntosh's book on Fox to his APO. A couple weeks later I received a big box containing several T shirts with his units insignia, a very nice chess set also with the insignia and a Gerber switchblade knife. We corresponded often and when he was back stateside I invited him to the Vintager's Get-Together in Sanford at the Southern. I had not made a hotel reservation and all I could find there were full up. David invited me to spend the night at his home near Camp LeJune. After that we would always meet at the Southern. I will miss him a lot.

Best Regards, George
