Doc, they are a wonderful array of smallbore Parkers. Maybe you could tell us the story of how you acquired them. When I was 14, I acquired my first 28 gauge VH. About 45 years later, I got the chance to put the second one into my collection. I still have both and am very happy with them, as you are.

Doc Great guns! If you got your first PARKER 28 AT AGE 14 I take it that was gift, maybe from your father. Down south that would be called making sure the child was raised right.

The barrels on the left look nice and long. Just how long are they?

Collection?

William- if this is just part of your collection, I would love to hear more about the rest of the collection.

Daniel, at 14, I bought my first 28 from another boy my age on our local skeet field. He was coveting a Savage 99 and I gave him the money to buy it. My Dad fronted me the money but would have nothing to do with the wheeling and dealing. By the way, Doc, that is a wonderful picture.

Bill My first side by side was a 28 ga entry level Ugahtethea made to scale. 27inch barrels, straight stock double triggers. Killed a lot of doves some pheasants and a few sharptails with it. But, it got me hooked on doubles. It just took about 20 years to get me on Parkers. But now the kids are out of college and I have purchased 3 Parkers in the last 9 months. My children have been informed, that when I am gone I intend leaving them worn out shotguns and beer coolers with nothing inside. Dan

Thanks Charlie I just sold the DHE 20 and I'm still depressed about it It was all original 28 inch barrels.

As far as the VH 28 gauge's one 28" barrel the other 26" barrel.
The 20 gauge VH has 28 " barrel. About to get another PHE and DHE.

These guns are uncut with mirror bores. I hunt with them weekly.
