kicking around an idea
I've been thinking about something for a while now and thought I would throw it out there. I like to write articles for the Parker Pages. I like to hunt with Parker Bros guns and I like meeting the variety of members of this association. So, here's my idea: I would like to go hunting with some of you and write about it for the PP. I would cover all my own expenses, provide my own guns and ammo, take good photos and write articles about our adventures. I would feature the guns, the dogs, the game and of course our members. This could provide material for the magazine (providing our editor deems it worthy), hunting experiences to share and bring a little more perspective about some of the members who make this organization the number 1 forum that it is. So, if you like this idea and think it's something worth pursuing let me know. If you would like to be considered for a hunt PM me and we can discuss it. I have several people in mind and am open to any suggestions. Turkey season is right around the corner!

Sounds good to me. A great idea would be the second annual Morrison Pines hunt next year. Turkey hunting would be fun too

Dean and Dave and maybe Rich Anderson will likely be hosting a Mammoth hunt here soon!

That sounds like a great hunt! Those three will probably be using Clovis points though to keep it real.

That's a great idea Mike. I think it has a lot of merit and could turn into a regular column. You've got my vote. Best, Dean |

A Clovis point is a very early stone spear point made and used by some of the first human inhabitants of North America.

Yeah but somebody chipped out the gold inlays of mammoths and saber-tooth tigers.
