Clays family of powders
There may be light at the end of the tunnel if what's being reported is more than rumor and speculation:

Good news for those of us that prefer Universal and International--it's back and once again being sold and delivered in the USA.

It has been awhile since I was on Shotgun World! My Norton stopped a virus attack when I attempted to read the first link:shock:

hope your write greg ,I sure would like to get some , I have not seen internatonial in two years
|
Just picked up two 8 lb. jugs of Universal from my local component dealer with a packaging date of 1/9/15 -- so I'm back in the saddle again and banging away with my 28-ga. 3/4 oz. and 20-ga. 7/8 oz. loads without concerns for rationing. My dealer also has International currently on hand -- the drought appears over!

I have seen clays powder at the local sporting goods dealer along with some 20/28. Rifle powders are in fairly good supply but what you can't find anywhere is brass for a center fire rifle.
Anyone have .300 Savage brass they want to part with??? |
I have 2 boxes of .300 Belted Magnum Weatherby brass one is a Tiger box 180 grain, the other is a bear box 200 grain marked NOSLER. $80.00 Shipped

Big difference between 300 Savage and 300 Weatherby.

I think when I get back from vacation in late April I'm gonna try and lay in a couple 8's of Universal Clays and perhaps one 8 of International .
Seems to me I can fairly easily replicate my SR7625 loads in the 10 , 12 , 16 and 20 with these two powders and I may not even need the International as I would think there's a decent 12 load using Universal . |
