14 gauge

I'm new to the Parker scene. I just inherited my grandpa's Parker 14 gauge side by side. I have been researching everything I can get my hands on in regards to the 14 gauge, but there isn't much out there. I'm curious with it's history and value. I will post some pictures soon. Any help would be appreciated. Excited to be part of the group.

Welcome Jeremy!

A 14 gauge Parker in any configuration is not a common gun..... you have a rare bird for certain.
Yes, pictures please - we'd all be happy to see some nice pictures of your Grandpa's Parker.

Here is some more info on the 14 gauge. Ser. # is 0736 - Decarbonized barrels . I'm still working on the pics. Thanks for the responses.

Jeremy,

This serial number is too low to be in the stock or order books. How did you determine that it is a 14-gauge?

Richard

That's quite a unique shooting kit you have inherited.

Are the shell heads stamped 14? Can you show us a picture of the all brass shell heads?
