New Galazan guns
On the back cover of my current CSMC catalog is a picture of a target O/U that looks much like a K-80. Has anyone handled one of these? There is also a Turkish O/U offered at a very reasonable price. Has anyone handled one of these.

An hour ago, I just picked up my new Inverness 20 gauge o/u. (after nearly a 2 year wait!) I don't have the CSM catalog in front of me, but I wouldn't call this similar to a K80, It's a round body. Doesn't have a hooded top latch. Seems like a nice gun. Am looking forward to shooting it as soon as I get the cast off my broken hand

Congratulations. How do you like it? That's not the gun I'm referring to.

Seems to handle well, Has a 15" LOP ( good for me - I'm 6'4") Has a high gloss plastic finish. Wish it had an oil finish

I've just arrived at our up north cabin. Harrowing drive. The last 30 miles at 30 MPH. Slippery stuff. Didn't bring the gun. Will try to post on Monday/Tuesday. Am up to participate in our first evening of curling at the Lewiston Curling Club. Anyone have any tips?

Yeah, don't toss with the broken hand....

Yup, the new competition CSMC gun is not the Inverness. My Inverness took 18 months and was worth the wait. Next, I get to order the new over under Model 21. I guess that will happen at the Southern, because Vegas is off the calendar for me.

While Tony makes beautiful guns in general, I would bet that the Winchester guys would not be impressed with the O/U model 21. Too slab sided caused by a too deep frame.

Bill, in appearance, the new Model 21 receiver is very much in character and appearance with the thirties prototype Model 21 over under pictured in Ned Schwing's book on the Model 21. You will have to see one up close to appreciate how shallow the action really is. I think it's kind of neat how Tony could take the Rizzini cloned action and shape it like a Model 21. Whether "first responders" to the ads like it or not, I have to have one. In my old age, I have to have something to shoot other than the eights and tens.
