Thanks for another great Parker Pages

Thanks to all the authors and Dean our very capable Editor for a great Parker Pages. Tom Breeden's article about Fred Gilbert was very interesting to me. I look forward to future articles about trapshooters and their guns (I am the caretaker of a Tom Keller trap/live bird gun). Are any of Gilbert's Parkers known to collectors???

I still haven't received mine.

They were just mailed on Tuesday so, considering the extra Holiday mail, you were lucky to get yours this soon Craig.

The layout of the peoples choice guns section is very nice!
And what a striking cover photo!

The back cover photo of Jay Gardner's "Tess" isn't too shabby either, could have been the centerfold.

Brandon Hoffman, the layout artist at Village Press is incredibly talented and it shows in each issue.

George and I were trying to decide on a backdrop for photographing his guns and then, all of a sudden I spied the stump of a huge oak George had removed a few years earlier and I knew right then what the backdrop would be. I'm glad he didn't hire a stump-grinder to remove it. Thanks for the compliment Brian.

I just received my case of Parker Pages and will be mailing out 4 extra copies to each of the Contributors of material for this issue.

Still haven't received my personal copy from the USPS though.

agreed - I love that picture, it is one of the all time best setter photos I have ever seen. I would like to have a print to frame.
