Extractor barrel conversion to ejector

Has anyone here had extractor barrels converted to ejector?
I'm wanting to find and fit a set of damascus 20ga barrels to an ejector frame. If the conversion is not too expensive it will more than double my chances of finding a set of barrels.
Who does this type of work? Thanks, David

Here is basically what needs to be done. Extractor shaft hole needs to be drilled out to a larger diameter. And the rib extension needs to either be altered or swapped out. Since it has to have the guide channels on the bottom for he kickers. As well as the stop plate on the rear.

Not 100% sure who could or would do it. Maybe Merrington?

Brad Bachelder can do this conversion. For this he will machine the guide slots in the bottom of the rib extension.

Mark, we would like to hear more about this conversion. Have you had one done?

Were ejectors an option on Damascus guns from the factory?

Yes they were

Yes they were on later Damascus guns and I have a 16 ga. GH on the 0-Frame made in 1893 that was sent back to Meriden in 1913 to "fit ejectors".

Damascus barrels were installed on Parker guns into the 1920's by request.

Indeed! I have a 1907 damascus CH with factory ejectors.
The gun In question is a 20ga BH damascus that was factory converted to ejector. Unfortunately the original 20ga damascus barrels are missing and it is wearing Remington era factory replacement Vulcan barrels. I would love to find a set of 28 inch damascus barrels to have fit to this gun. To me it would be worth the expense to get it back to its original configuration.
Thanks to those that have shared. It gives me new hope.

Factory conversions of ejectors were done often. The work to the actual frame is minimal. It includes just drilling out the trip pin holes, installing the new plungers and swapping out the roll joint.
Most of the work would be in the barrel conversion. I wonder if Parker would have converted the rib extension, or changed it out...
I would wager converting since changing out would require removing, re-soldering ant matting it.
