Trap Gun
1 Attachment(s)
I have a 1926 CHE with no safety. I'd always thought someone had removed the safety somewhere along the way (see the attached picture). I'm told, though that this is a factory trap gun and never had a safety (32" barrels, beavertail forend, Full/Full choke). I frankly didn't know Parker made any S/S trap guns, although my brother-in-law has a SBT.
The source of my information is very reliable, but I just wanted to check with you folks as the workmanship of the "non safety" doesn't look particularly "Parkerish" to me. Thoughts? |

If it were factory, normally it would be engraved over. Yours is engraved with Safety, so I would guess it was removed later.

Jeff is correct in that at some time the safty was removed from your gun. Parker made safty less gun for both live bird shooters and trap shooters. I have a BHE 12 with no safty.

Jeff, I noticed your gun was made sans the doll's head extension, that's a neat feature.

That's a sign of a true competition gun.

Chris,
It is also a 20 ga. Even more unusual! |

Well, so no one is going to comment that it looks awfully un-engraved for a C? I guess I just did...maybe it's the brother to the other unengraved C that Bill Murphy has.

This is a very interesting gun. You should order a PGCA letter to see what interesting person ordered your gun. We would like to see more pictures of this gun.

Bill, take another look at who posted the picture of the 20 ga. trap gun. |
