Pictures of 10 Gauge
10 Attachment(s)
You have seen photos of my GH 12 gauge. These are photos of my 10 gauge. According to the letter it was shipped in 1884 to the Pittsburgh Fire Arms Company of Pittsburgh, PA. It has 30 inch Plain Twist barrels. LOP is14 1/4 inches and drop at heel is 3 inches. The weight was 9 pounds 14 ounces and it still is. Chokes are full and full. It has some light pitting in the barrels but the barrels are still shiny. I am looking forward to using it on ducks and geese this fall with some RST Nice Shot.

#3 frame?
|
Bill, yes it is a #3 frame. I should have mentioned that.
Is there any way to get rid of the staining on the breech ends of the barrels without having someone like B |
Sorry my computer is messing up. Without having somebody like Brad Batchelder redo them? I have tried a Frontier pad which doesn't do much.

That's a very nice gun. Have you shot it yet?

Mike I have shot the gun a couple of times now. The first time was to just park my truck on a dirt road to shoot it. Very informal. I simply loaded it with 1 1/8 ounce RST shells and held it with both hands on the pistol grip to fire 4 rounds. Then I loaded it with 1 1/4 ounce of RST shells to shoot another 4 rounds. Having done that and still having all of my fingers I shot a few more rounds just to see about recoil (none to speak of) and bringing up the gun to fire off a shot. Then I went home. The second time was with my brother and an informal skeet shoot with him and me. I don't remember how many I broke out of 25 but probably 16. Can anyone suggest where to buy the product to attach to my stock to raise the comb. I have seen them in posts before before but can't find it now.
I love the 10 gauge a lot. My brother has a Beretta 3 1/2 inch 10 gauge double that we shoot clay targets with sometimes. It doubled on my nephew once and I have to say that was a, "kick". Dennis |
