VH trigger doubles

For Mr. J.B. Books,

Thank you for suggesting Mr. L. DelGrego & Son to look at my VH trigger. I got a call from him yesterday inquiring about the gun I sent him.

If you had not suggested I send it to him I may have never realized what I had. He indicated that the gun I had sent him was the most original condition Parker he has seen come into his shop in the last 10-15 years. He was very excited, and very excited for me.

Thank you again,

Byron...

Good to hear you are getting it fixed. LDG & S took care of a 12ga Trojan of mine that started doubling. Fixed one of Scott Kittredge's guns that was doubling too. Hard on the shooter and gun when they do that. Lawrence will get it fixed for you I am sure and his turnaround is usually fast too.

LDG&S are not only fair and fast, they are also honest businessmen and women. They will only do the work that you want and won't throw in extra costs you did not expect.

So, let's see some pictures of your nice VH. Must be a beauty.

Richard, here are a few photos...

Yup, it's the best one I've ever seen. If there was ever a $5000 VH 12, this is it. Thanks for the pictures.

Looks good, and a fast turn around on getting fixed too.

Byron Teates 05-02-2013 04:44 PM

Hey Bill,

Thank you for your response. I think it looks marvelous as well. But it is not a 12 bore, it is a 16 bore on a O frame. I shot quail about a month ago and managed 13 quail out of 15, and a double as well. It handles like a feather. I normally shoot about a 9 lb. sporting clays gun with release trigger but I could get used to shooting this one.

Pete, Once again thank you for sending me to DelGrego. Very happy with the work, turn around time, and cost.

Byron...

Start a new thread about this gun and you will get much more attention. We have seldom seen a VH like this. I have the three highest condition VH guns I have been able to find in fifty years of collecting, but yours is much nicer than mine. What a gun.
