Mills you forgot the 410"s :) Nice looking cover, reminds me of Morrison Pines.
Quail guns are like grouse guns the perfect one is the next one:whistle: |
One of these days I will probably get a 410. The thing is, you can get another 28 for less money and 28's are the top.
The cover is a lot like Morrison Pines. It is a lot thicker and you have to work to get to the birds. |
I like the thick stuff reminds me of grouse hunting. A 28 hammer gun is the best for quail.
|
The .410 doesn't really interest me, but the 28 is one of my favorite Parkers!
|
410 is the only one of the major gauges I don't have now, so will have to get it at some point.
Agree about 28's Reggie. |
I wouldn't be without my 28's a VHE straight grip skeet, an up grade A1 special 2 barrel set and the W.R. Pape hammer gun. I must confess to a fondness for the Fox FE 410 however:eek:

Julia has a Marlin fake LC Smith 410 that has actually been a good gun for her. She was deadly with quail with that gun. She has lost interest in it now
A Remington GHE 410 would be perfect, but need to save up big time. |
Hell! Tom Mix couldn't hit anything with a .410.
|
Those are nice! Here are a couple that would work also...
