Thanks Dean. I looked, and it was not there. Who knows what I did...

Personally, I like 16's over 20's... But, to each their own.

Still don't have a Parker 16, just have not seen one in the condition/price/config that gets me to pull the trigger on one. :D

Locating an acceptable Parker 16 is equivalent to winning the lottery. One of my favorite pastimes is seeking the ideal measurable’s, condition and price of quality Parker shotguns. I currently have zero acceptable 16 gauge examples on my short list.
The finest examples of Parker shotguns that routinely surface are offered by Mr. Josh Loewensteiner on Guns International. I’m also confident that wonderful examples are available at PGCA events.
I have been very fortunate to have won the “Parker 16 Gauge Lottery” twice, so far.

Bruce, those are some beauties. You did indeed win the lottery.

I also agree with your assessment of Josh's offerings, and I have several in my safes. It's so nice to have someone who makes good descriptions, prices fairly, and is honest in his dealings.

16 & 20 ga hammer guns are a pleasure to shoot and carry, I only have 3 16ga hammer guns 28" a 30" and a 38"but all Parkers are a pleasure to own and use, gary

A 20 gauge hammer gun is on my long term want list. 26” barrels would be great.

My 16's are a Winchester Model 12, Fox Sterlingworth deluxe, LC Smith Field Grade,Ithaca Flues Grade 1 1/2. My Parkers are all 12 but I'd love a 16.
I shoot 2.5 inchers and 3/4 oz load in all my 16s and they smoke clays.

I purchased a Parker 16 vh 0 frame back in 2013 and posted several photos. Larry
Delgrego said it was the most original condition Parker that had come into his shop for some time.

It is not a safe queen and has been used for quail, dove, and pheasant. Last year it went to South Dakota with me. The guide asked if anyone was hunting with anything other that a 12 gauge and I indicated I was using a 16 gauge with an ounce of #6s.
He told me in front of the other shooters " this is South Dakota and that gun and load ain't gonna cut it." After the 9th pheasant I dropped after 9 shots he quietly walked over to me and said he was wrong. It is one of my favorite game guns and would not sell It for a kreighoff.

I shot two 16 gauges in South Dakota. The one with tighter chokes worked really well
