Are the barrels interchangeable between the regular model 11 and the Sportsman version ?

I believe they are but I am no Sportsmen expert. Be careful with low serial number barrels as they we mostly fitted at the factory. I don't believe you can go wrong with one of the later barrels that has the milling on the grey extension to save weight. Will |

The Model 11 20 gauge arrived today . I’m going to take the Sportsman in tommorrow and see if the barrels swap . The new one needs a new spring something to do with the trigger assembly and it’s already ordered from Numrich . Other than this spring deal the gun looks in very decent to good shape .

Here are both sides the barrel on the model 11 16 . I don’t think they have the letters .

My latest Remington Auto Shotgun Tournament grade 12ga 28" plain barrel Circa 1910. The chip in the butt plate is repaired.
