They are fun to shoot and it seems that I cant resist them. I own four of them. The largest of them is a C Sharps in 50/90.

My man cave is the basement a suitable place for most things C.O.B. I just got the basement finished about a year ago and we (this means the wife) haven't decided on flooring yet.

I had a Shiloh Sharps in a very large 50/140. You want to talk about a kick. I had a guy beg me to shot it and I warned him about the way the gun jump up when the 725 gr. bullet leave. "no problem" was his reply. The rest of the day, he walked around with a black eye. It was not too hard on the shoulder but boy does it jump at the muzzle. It also was not cheap to shoot. Back about 15 years ago, I bought 2 boxes of ammo for it and was glad to get them. They were $125 per 20 rounds. Frank

Now that the Martha Stewart portion of our tour is over here is where the real work of load development, ammo manufacture, storage and just general overall gun stuff goes. And yes it pretty much always looks like this.

Boy those last two pic's looks a lot like my loading room except I keep the bullets, cases, and powder in another room which also happens to look like a mess. I load for all my sharps. Buying black powder ammunition is royally expensive. I had also owned a 45/120 and I am happy to report that someone else owns it now. The 50/90 is all I care for.
