I sold the exact gun you speak last year in the neighborhood of 15k.

Craig, You posted an album with pictures of your early AH guns in March of 22. It looks like you all ready have some beautiful examples. One more probably wouldn’t hurt! John

I only added three guns. A Winchester 1892 in 25/20 a custom 250 savage on a Kurz Mauser action and one Parker a AAHE 12 with 32 inch barrels. It's from 1917 and the grip cap is engraved Dr. W.R. Ballard MD Bay City MI. Underneath that is the name C. Middleton. I'm not good on the computer but I have been unable to find anything on the good doctor.

Oops make it 4 guns I forgot about the CS Rosson sidelock 16 ga

One would think that AAHE would be picture worthy. :)

Wasn't Middleton the name of the guy who owned the Invincible? I'm away from my references but the gun was left in a mansion and found by the new buyer.Article was in a 1966 or 68 "Guns & Ammo." about finding the gun.

There is a thread about Middleton’s Invincible in 2010 by George Lander. Sorry my skills don’t permit me to copy and paste here.

The original article on the A.C. Middleton 16-gauge, 230329, was by Dick Baldwin in the May 1971, Guns and Ammo, back around the time Gary Herman liberated it from the Ford family.

Thanks for the clarification.I'll always remember that article.

Picked up an 1893 GH 77913 12 gauge, #1 Frame, 30" barrels. The book says Capped Pistol Grip. I have no idea what the chokes are yet, but it shoots like gang busters.
