Dean , They are in fact Twist Steel , In The Parker Story it says there is one PT with 23" Barrels but there is no serial # given for the gun ! My gun letters with 22" Twist Steel Barrel and I wonder if the Gun Referred to in TPS is this gun since it letters and is not listed in TPS ! I know alot of the info. is difficult to read just by trying to cypher what has been posted ,I have never actually seen any of the archived info. in person as alot of you fellas have !

They are Twist I saw that gun here in Downeast before it was sold, it is a sweetie! I think I may have even posted about a couple years back.

Rick , I have owned this gun for quite some time , possibly you are referring when I put it up for sale a couple years ago because I was funding another project ! It didn't sell ,and I am glad it didn't ! If it wasn't this gun ,where did you see it ,It would be interesting to know if there is another !

Pineos true value had it, sold it on GB. I remember it had a tear are really bad ding in one of the tubes, it had a PGCA letter, might have been sold by Lyons and Coulson or Tryon one those two can’t remember. Here is the post from 2016

Yep ,same gun , I bought it from Pineo's ! I measured the barrel walls and they were pretty good and shot it for Grouse and woodcock ! I decided to sell it and was taking pictures of it , some one had ask a specific question about the ding and when I shone a light in it there was a small tear I had never noticed so I took it off the market and it being such a rare gun ,I sent it to Bachelder's they have repaired it and refinished it ! The barrels have been there since mid 2018 ,that's why I am so pleased to be getting them back !

Russ it is a sweet little gun! I can’t remember if the guy who sold was Jim Hall a retired wildlife bio ( he has quite a collection from what I hear) up here or not but the story goes he tripped and fell on the gun causing the issues in the barrel. I’m glad it was able to be fixed! It is one hell of a Woodcock/Grouse gun!
