I have three Parkers. A 32' DHE 12 ga. #2 frame, 12 ga. VH 1 1/2 frame, and a 16 ga. VH 30' #1 frame (my dove and quail gun). I also have a 12 ga. Fox Sterlingworth (my turkey gun) .

That's a group of guns to be proud of and we won't hold that Sterly against you.
What state are you in? I know you're not in Massachusetts if you hunt doves. |

I live in Texas just east of Austin in Bastrop County. We have at times good dove hunting over sunflowers and milo fields. We do not have wild quail anymore but put out pen raised birds and shoot over pointers and labs to flush. I plant long strips of milo for cover for the bird hunting. We use a horse drawn wagon to to follow the dogs. Lots of fun.

You're really doing it right - sounds like good shooting in a traditional way.
