Well, came close Saturday morning, Tom hung up when he saw my jake, and went the other way.... It happens, I would say, close but no cigar, but that just wouldn't be true..... :D

So far this Spring my Turkey hunting has been uneventful. Saw two hens thus far.

Hens like our yard so the fellows follow them ad-nauseum!! I get them with a Canon Powershot as I enjoy them coming back, except when I have outside work to do. These guys feed in the unharvested winter wheat field next to us and are a joy to watch.
