The barrels and receiver for this fore-end just sold on eBay.

David Holes 05-11-2016 09:08 AM

Yes they did, I purchased forend a week earlier with hope to keep them together. So would like to reunite with whomever receives barrels. Dave

George M. Purtill 05-11-2016 09:30 AM

77110

David - it was weird to me because the barrels were offered by a different seller than the receiver as I recall.

edgarspencer 05-11-2016 09:30 AM

George started this "Lost and Found list" as a means for people to rejoin lost parts, but the sellers of that barrel, and action seems determined to separate the parts. The buyer of the barrel wasn't even the same buyer as the guy who bought the receiver, so I wouldn't hold out any hopes of bringing your fore end back to the gun it was born with. (although an admirable gesture)

You're right George. They are 80 miles apart, both in KY. Clearly, there's a chop shop ring operating out of them hills.

Eric sounds more like a want to buy than a lost and found

You might get a better audience there

Eric Eis 05-22-2016 08:30 AM

You are right Rick wrong forum

I'm still looking for a set of 28" damascus 20ga "0" frame ejector barrels.
If you can help me or know someone who could, I'll pay a finders fee if I purchase the barrels. The barrels must be damascus and at least 28" and have ejectors. However I will buy any set of barrels with serial number 84040 regardless of the length or gauge. Non ejector "0" frame damascus barrels of at least 28" and 16 or smaller gauge will be considered also.
Thanks, David

Did one of these become the barrels for the other?

Bill Murphy 06-21-2016 11:34 AM

Not sure.

Looking for Parker Special Steel barrels to 226939

James Morris 09-18-2016 02:07 PM

I am looking for the 32" Damascus barrels that were on my AH 12 gauge serial number 73302 made in 1892. My father sent the gun to Griffin & Howe in 1961 to have steel barrels made for it and G&H misplaced the barrels.

James Morris 09-18-2016 02:11 PM

I am looking for a set of 32" Damascus barrels from my 1892 AH 12 Gauge serial number 73302. My father sent the gun to Griffin & Howe to have a new set of steel barrels made in 1961 and they misplaced the barrels.

Allen R. Means 12-31-2016 06:52 PM

Found, but not for sale.

Found in a WV pawn shop. Barrels for No 74400.

Brian Dudley 12-31-2016 07:34 PM

Edit your post to remove the period from the serial number.

Paweł Janusz 01-15-2017 05:06 PM

I make any parts that you need for your old guns include complete barrel sets custom per order and regulation spec, rebuilding bores of old pitted barrels as well.

Gary Rennles 01-17-2017 06:04 PM

sounds much better than finding the original old parts,

George Davis 02-03-2017 09:03 AM

2422 barrels

Hello All, Looking for 2nd set of barrels made for 2422, Plain Twist.... or the Holy Grail, which ever comes first.

Thanks, Deano

Dean Romig 03-27-2017 10:31 PM

That's interesting Deano, does your research letter indicate it had a second set of barrels other than the 28" eleven-gauge barrels?

.

Dean H Hanson 03-27-2017 10:41 PM

Dean, A second set were ordered in 1879 according to Order Book No. 5, among other requests. Actually had to send pictures to Mr. Bishop to figure out what I have. Its a long shot at best..... and I've taken some very "long shots" before, at least at grouse, its worth a try.:)

Dean Romig 03-27-2017 10:50 PM

You are right. When the stars align just so, some things just seem to come together... including missing Parker barrels and other parts. We've seen it happen before.

.

Dean H Hanson 03-27-2017 10:55 PM

If I find the second set of barrels, Parker Pages may need a double issue...
