I hope you enjoyed those ribs Edgar, next year I'm bringing my appetite. I have ground to make up for you know:)

Some refer to it as Hausmann's. Many more just call it Ernie's....I think that says a lot about the hospitality that echos from the house to the back of the field. And I understand Robin's post above, plenty of visiting going on. For myself as much fun as it is to shoot the scenic courses, it's seeing friends, some old some new and before only known through their postings here or maybe a phone conversation.
Special thanks go to Brian Dudley for getting the straight grip GH 0 frame 16 Damascus stocked to the point I could shoot it and feel confident it was going to hit where I was looking. Lots left to be done on this Parker, but getting to shoot it meant a lot to me, and will make the wait easier. I think I could have won the Damascus, hammer less, trigger guard less 16 division. I witnessed some really great shooting by PGCA members. Two Black dog Daryl, and his other brother Darrell ( Mike Smith) yea don't shoot the subbore course with them unless your looking to be humbled. Or the Bo -Whoop they ain't playing. I was there when a gracious gentleman I call Uncle Bob almost ran the subbore course. Outstanding guys!! There was an Outstanding girl also, shooting a Lefever H, 16ga. Yes her last name was on the gun. But she again just like at the Southern out shot me. The Main Event isn't the 80 clay Saturday for me but Edgar and Allan's Friday night shindig. Again this year featuring great rib's!!! Double Play hit a HR with the kielbasa! Harold your a shooting gentleman of many talents. You and your guitar added a touch of class to the event. Many Thanks Brett |
All right guys where are the photos...............

Here a few pictures I took at Hausman's this year.
1. The "NH Boys" with Sara Lefever in the main event. Note how serious we are, we bring our walking wounded almost 400 miles to pull targets :-) 2. Scott K. showing us how it is done. 3. Frank chillin' at lunch time. 4. A rather motley crew on the course. 5. Frank was also stylin' this year with a new hat. It's a stealth hat, you can't tell when he is serious and turns it around backwards. 6. Harold telling us how to break a six straight on a station. 7. The "NH Boys" PA retreat in nearby Fairdale PA. 8 - 13. Random pictures in the tent of temptation. |

There had to have been some one else shooting a gun without a safety. So, no trigger guard likely does put you in your own class. |
Thanks for the recognition Brett. Ernie's is probably my favorite shoot 'cause there's lots going on both socially and gun wise. There's talk about a GoFundMe account for your GH which you shoot very well but it's hard to look at.:)
It's always great to see the boys from NH having a "wicked pissah of a good time". Thanks for the photos Pete. Glad to see you've figured out what's important in life. God bless. I think Edgar has started a great tradition which seems to be growing each year. Thanks to him and Allan for having us. "Friday night in the outback" has become a major social event for attendees of the event. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to stop and chat. Our conversations may be brief but they mean a lot. |
The back field at Ernie's has always been a great meeting place and Edgar and Allan have certainly brought it to a new level.... does Harold sing too? Always nice to have good music.
Who can accompany Harold with a harmonica? . |

I'll agree with Daryl and Brett's sentiments--this is by far my favorite shoot. Very relaxing, and great company. The weather was good this year, and no parking problems. Camping is relaxing, with EDgar and Allen on one side, and Kenny Graft with his great little camper on the other. I should have taken more pictures, but my phone was dead most of the time
1. Huck Finn guarding my weapons of mass destruction. 2. Huck wakes up from a nap. 3. Scotty, Pete, Kenny, 4. Edgar, Kenny Graft, and Brett Hoops. 5. Back at my camp with Allan, Edgar, Frank, Kenny, and Scotty. 6. Stephen Hodges shows us how it's done. 7. Frank with his rally cap on, Bill Jannell keeping score. 8. The "jearing" section. 9. Scotty trying to steal Huck. 10. |
