I challeng you to a round of clays. You can use the 8ga and I'll use a 16 or smaller. Loser buys me the Burbon of my choice:rotf:

Rich, My most recent acquisition was a GH 16 gauge which is great on clays. Just not as much fun to hear it go bang as the 10 gauges.
|
That 16 might not be as much fun (so you think) but it's easier on the wallet and the shoulder and I'd bet the scores will be better with the 16.

COB - Interesting bet proposition. If you lose, you buy yourself a bottle of Old Stumpblower, and the winner gets nothing. Not sure I'd take that bet

are y'all talking 16 gaugers or 16 inchers ?????
i'm confused...( which doesn't take a lot ) ddp |
Bruce,
Please don't show that cased 28 gauge again. My heart went all aflutter there for a moment. What a beautiful gun. Thanks for the photos. Dennis |

I was discussing 8 inch field guns. Roundsworth may join in wiht the merits of shooting clays or fortified positions with 16 inch guns. :rotf: |
