That 15 score was your practice round, right? I've seen you shoot and you can break clays consistently when your head is in the game. Keep it up Danny!

I had asked about an extension for son Wyatt due to the the local and state fair committments. A couple of folks gave support but we didn't/haven't seen whether or not he could do this. He did shoot with me last weekend with the 28 repro. By the way, I shot the 32" DHE I showed awhile back for the first time. All targets on the course could have been broken with a SK or IC choke. Needless to say my score was rather low, but when I hit them there was no doubt! I love that gun. Trap like targets evaporated. Need to try that game with it.

p.s. - he didn't recieve his Parker Pages last time either??? Whom should he contact?

Three weeks is a long time to wait.

Send a PM to James Hall indicating the length of time you've been waiting.
He has extra copies for situations like yours.

Missing Parker Pages has been taken care of. Thanks.

In re-reading the rules as to what was needed to complete the youth challenge, I withdraw my request regarding extending Wyatt's time due to other conflicts, such as his state fair obligations. I will pay his renewal as a PGCA youth member and encourage him to budget his time more seriously next time. Life is about choices and setting priorities and I think the requirement to finish his committments on time is a good life lesson. He will no doubt compete in our local Winter League again but I also hope we have another PGCA summer youth program so he can try again next year. He has certainly learned something from this by not getting a pass for not finishing on time. Looking back we could have easily worked it in.

The world needs more Dads like you. "Tough Love" is hard to do sometimes but we are all the better for it. I know there were times I wasn't real happy with my Dad's decisions about me but I benefitted from those decisions and the standard was set for the kind of Dad I became.

Ok - I'm back.....

So, by the power vested in me and Mary....

The winners of the FIRST ANNUAL SUMMER COMPETITION ARE:

For SKEET shooting - the overall winner is: Austin Turecek.. Austin hit more targets in skeet with a PUMP shotgun than many of you will ever hit in your entire life...

For SPORTING CLAYS - we have a TIE!!! Matt Grunzweig & Edward Blake take home the GOLD... Both scored an average well above 70 for the season - and I have asked them personally, if they could give both Mary & I shooting lessons at Sporting Clays... We have not heard back yet about that..???

Danny Suponski! Can you believe that?? He outshot his own father multiple times - and on multiple occasions!!

Seriously - to each of you young men.....

You folks are what the PGCA is - and will be about..

Each of you have a complementary PGCA Membership, so Mary will be contacting you shortly about that... As well?? All of you are winners in Mary's and my book, so each of you will receive a printed certificate of completion for this event - and all will also receive some "special PGCA Awards" in the mail acknowledging your accomplishments...

You young men are simply... Outstanding...

Congratulations to each and all of you,

Excellent shooting...
