So that's how Fox shooters get so many Trophy's!:) |
Right Larry - it’s not how you shoot... it’s WHAT you shoot.

Bill, I have a friend with 2 Pudlepointers, I'll ask where he got them. He does hunt them. I have always liked their demeanor, and they seemed pretty calm.
Of course, the standard poodle is hypoallergenic, and was bred as a hunting dog. Robert Rambler used to post great pictures of his 2 poodles hunting, I remember meeting him and his dogs at the Eastern SXS in West Virginia--that is where I first met you also. |
Bill, check out the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) and the North American Pudelpointer Alliance ( most are NAVHDA members). They will have information on the breed and breeder lists. If you settle on a particular breeder you'll be able to research their dogs hunting tests scores online through the NAVHDA website. I know the N.A. Pudelpointer Alliance has a dedicated breeder page list and links, the NAVHDA site takes a little more searching for the info, but the test score information is invaluable.
Good Luck , Tim. |
