I took a look at the forend ejector mechanism, gave it some lube. Dang, those look complicated. I have worked on Fox, Elsie, and Baker ejectors before; never Parker. It is a 1-frame made about 12 years before the first so-stamped 1/2-frame.
A 1-frame 12 gauge is the lightest frame size Parker Bros. would make a 12 gauge on. Some of them are heavier than you would ecpect and the 1-frame and the 1 1/2-frame guns are generally similar in weights. . |
