Thanks Dee. My sister is fighting non-hodkin's lymphomas for the last four years. So far so good. You just got to have faith.

Dee Durham 07-24-2015 03:42 PM

ABSOLUTELY!!!! If you let it get you down, it wins! I've always said "I don't know how my story ends but it will never say I gave up!" I will be praying for her and her fight!

Great News Dee: I lost my bride of 43 years to Stage 4 lung cancer December 30, 2012 after battling it for 6 months. She was never without a smile on her face although I knew that she was hurting. You are a HERO in my book.

Love, George

In no way am I a "HERO" but thank you! I'm just a gal from Texas who has a LOT of fight and spunk who won't let anything keep me from smiling and steal my happy attitude. There are people fighting worse battles than I could ever imagine, than I am. So, with that being said, I'm so very sorry for your loss and your beautiful wife is MY hero for fighting and smiling each and every day. Thank you for sharing that with me! I can only imagine her there with my mom, dad, nana and pawpaw smiling down on us! I'm blessed and grateful to have all of you and your words of encouragement and prayers!

Prayers answered are wonderful but never stop praying. Great news!

Jeff, you and I both know you are right, prayer works! we are living examples of that, keep the faith my friends, Gary
