Poly-wad also has Vintager shotshells. they are good and the B&Ps are great ammo.

Just to add insult to injury, the lead shot and lead bullet situation will get worse, much worse. The last remaining domestic lead smelter, located in Missouri, will be closing. All domestic mined lead will then have to be sent off shore for smelting/refining. The owners of the smelter estimated it would cost $100,000,000 to comply with the newest EPA regulations. Did not make economic sense to continue the operation.

I feel exactly as Charlie and am kicking myself for not hoarding. There were so few duck days in California this season, last years left over shells were sufficient.

Alex is so easy to order from and always was so nice to visit with. Very bad news.

I've done a bit of hoarding thankfully, I've got enough duck and upland loads to last me several years. I don't shoot clays that much so I might have enough target loads to last me a year. At a small gun show few weeks back I bought 8 boxes of target stuff from a guy for $4 each and was glad to get them.

Destry just gave me a thought. Find members who hoarded RST's and invite them hunting at my private refuge in exchange for shot shells and retrieval services. That would complete my trifecta fowling dream; closed zone refuge shooting, free shells, and never having to retrieve a hen spoonie ever again!
