Whoa, slow down just a little here. I never suggested paying more than this gun is worth, and for the record, I'm not in love with it either.
All I'm saying is that if bought for the appropriate price, it would be a cheap way into a 28 ga. Parker.

I believe the sellers gets his fees credited back by gunbroker for a returned gun. On gunauction.com it works that way if you post a neutral feedback for the buyer indicating a return. You should check that out.

Point taken. Todd, what do you think the gun, in it's present condition is worth, what it will take to make it right, and what do you think it will be worth when that's all done?

What I think it's worth is more generous than Bill; $500
What will it take to make it right? Remove the top rib and extension, put the barrels back on face, replace the top rib.Age the garish colors back so it wouldn't embarrass me to be seen with it. $2000-$2500 (Check with any of the barrel men like Kirk Merrington)
What do you have when it's all done? A sleeved bitsa, $500

Why less the GB fees? You should not be out anything. The seller should eat the fees and take full responsibility. It's not the money it's the principle.

I know of a fellow that they put in federal prison for five years for fakeing lugers. It is called forgery. The way this person worded his add it is reel close to that.

I would be glad to get anything back. This guy has a refusal to take a gun back in his feedback file and a couple of other conflicts.

Notify gun broker about the fee's not being refunded....send copy of his e-mail to them that says he is not refunding your money. I bet he gets the fee's removed from his account and relist the gun. I would wait till refund comes, then make him send your fee's withheld. That is just not right....SXS ohio

When you get your refund, buy a nice 28 Repro. It will be money well spent.

Now that's great advice! Look for a two barrel set double trigger gun...sweet. About 5500.00 to 6500.00 They are way nice!, light on a true 00 frame approx. 5lbs-12oz

I don't think gunbroker has an inspection period as a mandatory part of a sale.
