Bo Butler Mike Franzen Brian Hornacek Jeffery Sweeter Matthew Koepnick Randy Roberts W. Woods Gary Cripps James Martin Steven Huffman Craig Carter Kenny Graft Mike Koneski Thomas Kidd Fred Stump K. If you're name isn't on the list but you've definitely sent money or you've drug your feet sending payment please message me privately and we'll figure it out. |
Anxiously awaiting the delivery of the patches. And since my Parker is a family heirloom and has been passed down to me (I'm the third owner), it will soon be passed down to my son, along with the the documentation I've been able to obtain through this organization and the patch.

Did you get my order?
|
Destry,
Again, thank you for undertaking this project. While I know you are not a, "store" did you plan on ordering more of these patches for future members? Maybe a deal could be worked out with the, "Parker Store" for a number of these for future sales. I know I would have liked to have one of the parker sweaters that you had made for the members. I would check with the guy that is in charge of selling the caps and shirts about stocking the patches. Thanks again. |
Updated list as of today:
Bo Butler Mike Franzen Brian Hornacek Jeffery Sweeter Matthew Koepnick Randy Roberts W. Woods Gary Cripps James Martin Steven Huffman Craig Carter Kenny Graft Mike Koneski Thomas Kidd Fred Stump K. Jones Scott Gentry John Davis Jim Hall Russell Cleary M. Moffa John Black Brian Stucker Mills Morrison Jay Oliver Again, if you aren't on it, I don't have your payment. I'm going to make the call tomorrow afternoon and order them. If you want one or sent payment and I don't have you listed just send me a private message and we'll get it taken care of. |
Ok boys, the order is in!
I should have the patches in hand in four to five weeks. |
Cool! Now I need a good Made in USA vest for mine.
|
I've decided to frame mine and hang it with my other wildlife prints, mounts, and duck hunting memorabilia. If put it on a vest/jacket...it will get messed up over time history has shown.
Thanks for the effort Destry, looking forward to Christmas in August or September. |
Brian has a good idea too
|
Mills, I wish it wasn't that way...but I'm very hard on my stuff. This way it will be perfect for the rest of my days.
|
You boys bought 'em, you use 'em however you want. I had some much fun with this one I might see what I can do for the LC Smith boys.
|
Great Idea Dunniqum Never thought of framing em. May have to get on board on the LC Smith ones . Thanks:)

I ordered two for just that reason.
|
great idea getting two.
|
I did buy three of the sweaters, one patch may go on one of them. If not I have a very nice vest I purchased from Tony at CSMC.

I'd had several requests from folks about a possible smaller, less expensive patch. Done in this style, old school with the chainstitch embroidery, it's just not possible.
I spoke with my manufacturer, we even looked at a design I worked up with lettering only. Even with far less details, the smallest they can get it and get any lettering sharpness would be 8.5 inches long. I did some checking around on another old style of embroidery that would have worked for sure but had some very bad new. It looks like the last manufacturer who was running a Schiffli Swiss Loom has had their last employee who knew how to operate it retire. The call for emblems made that way is almost non-existent anymore, so rather than train somebody new, they've dropped it from their line. If there's anybody else in the US running one I can't find them. I called all the places I knew who used to and most of them didn't even know what I was talking about, it was so far gone. That is officially the end of an era and made me kinda sad to tell the truth. Most of smaller size old time gun club patches would have been Swiss Loom manufacture, everything from this point forward will be that flat ugly computer stitch crap. |
I was trying to add a video of the patch making machinery but it's not working sadly.

Do we have a E.T.A as of yet? SXS Ohio
