Another upgrade Journey comes to an end. Quite a nice finished product I think. So much time, debating on what to do with Chris D, Christian Lemieux and Paul Dubois. Why did I do it, a rough and beat gun…….it had great bones! 16 ga, 32”, 1 1/2 frame…..a sucker for something special “I AM”. I think of it as if it were a highly graded original gun, say B or better I could never buy such a gun! The price and competition to acquire such a thing is overwhelming today. I now have a one of a kind, original no, but as special as any rare and unique Parker to me. The added benefit is the friendship and brotherhood I have established with these 3 fine craftsmen. I am a lucky man.

Original plan was American walnut, drop points for a little flair, keep it simple with a butplate and a simple engraving pattern to showcase it being a Parker. That went into some more exciting checkering, full coverage engraving and an added 12 ga barrel set.

I hope you enjoy the pictures of the finished product. A big thank you to Chris, Chris and Paul.

All the best friends.

I thought this would be fun to post, how does this all happen? Here is a series of pictures back and forth on the engraving with Paul and I.

I always get asked what does it take to do these upgrades…..patience is the most important thing…….2-4 years……and NEVER call and ask about the progress!

Everything looks great! The engraving a very tasteful and not too much of a departure from the old style.
