further off the Vintagers topic

I have these lines on one of my powder horns along with a setter on point with a rising grouse

" Better to hunt in Fields, for Health unbought,
Than fee the Doctor for a nauseous Draught."

from a poem by John Dryden a 17th century English writer (To My Honor'd Kinsman, John Driden)

I hope everyone who was planning to go to the Vintagers can go to Rock Mountain.

Trampoline targets are the best! They had one at Old Hudson the other month

We have one at the local club that they appear to be inclined to throw true pairs off of. Seems to be a love hate relationship.

I see that some driving ranges are even using Trampolines.

The one that Mike had set up at last year's shoot drove me crazy and ultimately "ate my lunch." It was a simo (true pair) launch that gave you one more or less gently rising outgoer at about a 60 degree angle from the tramp, and the other one a more sharply rising bird at a significantly higher speed due to the angle impacting the tramp. The second bird went anywhere it wanted! I could always break either one of the pair but never both. I quit after 7 tries; what a blast!

Kevin I am quite certain the Mountain Man has been awake at nights scheming over target presentations including the "tramp". Looking forward to my first trip there.
