I hope this went to a good home, I didn't see it but it was "i am certain" 100% correct! Someone got a great deal!

$55K plus the buyers premium. Rare and a highly sought after configuration 20ga and 32" barrels.

Gary, I'm afraid you're whistling past the graveyard

Some of our posters, supposedly educated in Parker records, don't understand that provenance isn't available on this gun, even if missing records were recovered. Order books ended at about serial number 185,000 range. Don't blame missing or stolen books on the missing records on this gun. We will never know the provenance of this gun unless someone in its previous life comes forward.

I very much disagree, The gun sold for exactly what it was worth +- 20% vig and I think the buyer and seller are probably happy with the results. If you have real sale results to compare for grade 7 20ga guns with 32" barrels for the past 5-100 years selling for 100k please post them. I would really like to see the facts that call this gun 100k gun.

I think considering the condition of the gun it brought a fair price. No case colors, white line pad, issues with the stock finish and probably re-blued barrels all were considerable deductions on my tally sheet.

I do know of one that sold privately in that price range “close to a hundred grand”, “+- 20%” about 8 or 9 years ago. I must admit that I don’t understand what you mean by “vig” though.
It was all original and in high condition but I don’t remember if it had 30” barrels or 32”.

Unfortunately I’m not at liberty to divulge names or serial number of the gun.. so it’s just another case of “somebody told me blah, blah, blah...
