Mr. Carpenter, many years ago, I had a delightful afternoon visit with Mrs. Carpenter, who I assume maybe was your mother, maybe your grandmother. The year escapes me, but it was at the time when "Hidden Dream" was on the market. I have a file of correspondence with her, that I can't put my hands on right now, but I am still looking. In that file was also a realtor's color folder describing and pricing "Hidden Dream". She and I could not arrive at a price for the gun, and I assume she was never able to get her price. That's the gun business. On the way out the drive, I left an expensive bottle of Chardonnay in the mailbox as an enticement for her to keep in touch. I will let you know when I find the correspondence. Bill Murphy in Maryland.

I found the correspondence and discovered that Mrs. Carpenter was Judy Carpenter. Maybe you could tell us about her. Bill Murphy

Ken, the picture of your guns trigger guard is not very sharp on my computer, but it appears as it might be a rolled-edge trigger guard ?

Thats a nice gun with family history. As long as there is family IMHO it should remain with family.

I must say I agree with Rich. I could only wish that I inherited a family gun.

Was Judy Carpenter, the lady who offered the gun to me, your sister in law, married to your brother?
