I shot both courses and had no need for anything bigger than a 20ga in fact I probably would have scored better if I left the long barreled tight choked 12 at home. I shoot for the fun of it and I did have a good time.

Agreed Rich

I shot ( or tried to shoot) the 12 bore course with my Super Fox.

Glad it was not for score

Great course. But bring a grouse/woodcock gun, not your passing shooting waterfowl cannon

I shot mostly spreader loads and just a handful of regular shells in the 12 gauge all weekend.

It was great to see everyone again. Weather was sunny and comfortable all three days. Couldn't ask for better weather.

Big shout out to Harold with his John Deere "Gator". This thing was a beast towing out vehicles and taxiing everyone plus ammo around the course.

Looking forward to the next shoot. See you all soon.

Let's set up an Addieville shoot for July. Since my Cape house looks like this I will have lots of non-beach time this summer.

One of the best things I saw at Hausmans was four young people out on the course with their dad's, very cool. I heard one of the kids shot the Letterman Cup very well with a borrowed Fox trap gun.

Rich, Do you know who these young folks are? Gary

Translation: it will be done before crow season.

These kids shot very well. Each boy were shooting Ithaca SxS low gun and I witnessed one boy named Sean clean sweep a station.

At least one of the boys was shooting a Browning BSS 20 and from what I understand Morris from RST donated the ammo for the kids.

To me the courses seemed reversed as the smallbore was better suited for a largebore and vice versa. I shot the largebore course with a 20 and did OK but shot the main event with a 12 and 3/4oz loads. Those 6 birds on station 2 coming off the hill just killed me. I broke 5/6 with a 28 the day before and only managed a 1/6 with the 12 the next day. Go figure.

I'd like my room to be where the CAT is sitting so I'll have a nice view in the morning.
