Folks, do not feel sorry for Rich, even with that gem (and it is...) he still walked away with money in his pocket  In all my travels with COB I can not remember such a time, he is usually trying to figure out how to sell his blood, instead this time he came back with cash in his pocket...

I wasn't so lucky.......

The ability to post pictures is obviously a perishable skill so here is try #2. The gun also came in a nice trunk case.

Did I NEED another grouse gun??? It's better to have one to many than one to few......isn't it???

Mills I have been going to the Southern for almost 15ys and have always left there with at least one gun usually two. This year was the bonus year in that afterwards I scored on the BHE 20 32 inch gem. It was well worth the financial scramble:)

Have you been doing OK with just one kidney? :)

Rich Anderson 06-08-2016 01:17 PM

I still have both but I'm saving one for a small bore Purdy:)

Rich, that gun really needs a nice leather covered pad.

Your right Dean. It also can use to have the checkering recut as it's pretty worn. My smith's checkering tool is out for a rebuild (thankfully he got the rifle checkered first) so then I'll do both tasks. She is light and lively. Maybe I'll take her to the Wisconsin shoot next weekend and do "the grouse walk" with her just to try her out.

Maybe I'll call her Frannie??

The new Geouse Walk at Ernies looked very interesting. I wanted to try it out, but didnt get the chance.
