Even with an aggressive all terrain tire, we just slowed to a stop. Down where Eric's truck was parked, someone put the pedal to the floor getting out, and it looked like two gunnite cannons, totally coating three cars behind him. The entire row along the stone wall was deeply rutted.

Were you there for the guy in the red truck with his foot to the floor trying to see if he could get to China in short order??

I wasn't there to see it but did see the carnage after he left. Gunnite Gus.

So what you are saying is next year no 2 frames and only light beer?

Wow, that makes a lot of sense. Good thing I traded that DH 2 frame in on that 0 frame DHE. However, since I was the grill man and only got the last two ribs, I think we decided 10 racks wasn't enough. Also, I won't need three flats of ammo if I only shoot two rounds.

Here's a big thank you to Edgar and Allan for the very nice cookout. How many
new members did you sign up?

"...60 cans and 24 bottles of beer..."

That quantity was the result of my underestimating that PGCA (mostly) members are a pretty sedate lot; I think that we brought home 2/3 of all that beer. Next year it'll be more ribs and less brew.

I also did manage to shoot four rounds and one at the five stand but at 3/4 oz, I only left about 11 # of shot at Ernie's. The Excursion strolled right out of the field on Saturday afternoon.

The gentleman who owns the parking field is Paul, he always stops over to see me when I camp. He didn't seem upset about the field when I talked to him on Sat. I too, thought the numbers were a little down, but hard to say for sure. Thanks Pete for posting the picture of me and my gator, it sure helped out with the plantar fasciitis of my right heel, will definitely plan on bringing it next year.
Brett, good to meet you, we only live a half hour apart

I abstained on your beer expecting the bourbon to be brought out somewhat discreetly... (Else that would have gone to someone with a 16 oz. tumbler much like the first batch of ribs went) but it must have been brought out well after dark.
