Wow!! I thought the killing Raptors and other engravings were cool.
.....do you think the Potter Bunny is in that box? |
If Gary could show a closer image of the dead pigeon on the trap box you would see the + where the pigeon's eye is. Very cool early indicator of "dead". I think it is probably a $125 Grade but may be too early even to be counted in the "Dollar Grades".

I think I've seen this gun in person. One, or one very much like it, was shown around at the Michigan Antique Arms Show a couple years ago. Very cool, engraving is super unusual needless to say.

Interesting----looks like a gun that came from Baltimore!!!! Allan |
This gun has been seen at shows here in CT for the past few years. It's great to see that it found a good home.

Bill, It could have!

Gary; this gun was shown at Allentown several times a year and a half or two ago. I was seriously interested in buying it, but the owner selling it at that time was so arrogant (absolutely no negotiation on price in a vindictive sort of way) and ignorant about Parker Guns (he claimed the gun was ordered with 'variable cast' so the shooter could succesfully take either left or right birds as they cleared the box) that after a few minutes I just walked away. I'm really glad to see it again, especially to know that you wound up with it. Well done!

Kevin, That was for sure the same dealer. I had a similar experience with him.
